Positive Parenting Programme 1-to-1 Consultations

4 sessions over 4 weeks 

Parents with children living or studying in Pasir Ris/ Punggol/ Tampines who have 1-2 mild parenting concerns they’d like support with

This parenting clinic is a one-stop avenue for parents to consult on their parenting concerns. It is free and will be conducted 1 to 1 virtually with the trainer over 4 sessions of about 45 minutes each.

The programme will equip parents to confidently manage their children’s behaviour, prevent problems from developing and build strong, healthy relationships.

The Triple P programme introduces parents to the core principles of positive parenting, strategies to teach children important values and help children learn social-emotional regulation skills.

It covers 3 parenting topics:

  • Seminar 3: Raising resilient children

The sessions are available in three languages to better support our diverse families.

Feel, Deal, Heal: 
Parent-Child Emotional Regulation Workshop Series

By SBL Vision Family Service Centre

 

19 and 26 July (Sat)
10.00am - 1.00pm

Attendance is compulsory for both sessions.

Parents with children aged 6 to 9

Session 1 (19 July): Up to 24 parents

Both parents are encouraged to attend.  

Session 2 (26 July): Up to 36 parents and children 

Minimally 1 parent from the first session should attend.

 

This workshop is suitable for all parents, regardless of whether they have attended the Connected Calm workshop.

Family Nexus@Our Tampines Hub

Building on the Connected Calm workshop, this workshop series on emotional co-regulation involves both parents and children in in-depth discussions and hands-on activities.

Parents will learn techniques of self-regulation as the foundation for co-regulation, and children will be taught to identify and understand different emotions, as well as basic self-regulation tools for managing overwhelming emotions.
