1. ESTHER Network Overview

This introductory module highlights the philosophy and primary tenets of the ESTHER Coaches’ Workshop.  

Learners will:

• Gain an overview of ESTHER Network and the roles of ESTHER coaches in the network
• Review the desired learning outcomes of the workshop

2. ESTHER Café

This module provides an overview of the principles, knowledge and skills needed to plan and organize an ESTHER café.  It will examine concepts such as narrative story-telling, customer-focused dialogue and highlight practical considerations in organising effective ESTHER cafés.  

Learners will:

• Learn to identify suitable ESTHERs and coach them to share their stories
  
• Be equipped to facilitate a discussion between ESTHERs and care providers in identifying and prioritizing "What matters most to ESTHER"

3. Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA)

This module aims to provide learners with a systematic approach to plan, test and measure changes. 

Learners will:

• Apply the PDSA problem solving approaches in designing improvement initiatives
  
• Learn to show the existence of improvement and identify with certainty that a change implemented is an improvement for ESTHER (and not just for the organisation)

4. Process Mapping

This module guides learns to examine ESTHERs' experiences navigating complex care delivery systems to access care services.  It examines the concepts such as:

• Process mapping, care chain, touch points and channels
• Development of person-centred approaches to construct a process map

5. Managing Change & Stakeholder Engagement (working with stakeholders)

This module examines the concept of stakeholder analysis, which is a process of identifying relevant stakeholders (the public, organizations, and groups) that are likely to affect or be affected by a proposed change. Learners will learn

how to perform stakeholder analysis and address the interest of the stakeholders.
