Information on ESTHER Coaches' Workshop 2026

Workshop overview:

This signature workshop integrates person-centred philosophy and approaches with quality improvement methodologies to design and implement real-world person-centred projects to enhance care delivery, improve outcomes and patient’s care experiences.

Trainees will be equipped to:

• Apply ESTHER Café and QI tools to design person-centred improvement projects (ESTHER Projects) that are inspired by service user’s needs
• Engage and partner service users to co-design and co-develop ESTHER projects that promotes patient-centred outcomes and support organizational goals
• Coach an interprofessional project team to implement the ESTHER project over a nine-month period
• Leverage on the support of their project sponsors and institutional leaders for resources and guidance to drive and implement their project

Participants should possess these pre-requisites:

• Nominated by HOD or Institutional leader to attend the workshop. HOD is required to be listed as one of the project sponsors.
• Have direct patient/client contact in their scope of work
• Is a team leader, supervisor and/or in middle management
