They are also dedicated to nurturing young nurses and committed in contributing their professional expertise in the community.

Jordan Hwang Chung Cheng
Assistant Director of Nursing (Advanced Practice Nurse)
Singapore General Hospital
As Haematology’s first Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) at Singapore General Hospital, Jordan Hwang is recognised for his clinical excellence and quiet, steadfast dedication.His deep commitment to patient and workforce safety, led him to strengthen transfusion practices and pioneer Singapore’s first medical surveillance programme for chemotherapy nurses, safeguarding hundreds of colleagues, annually.
A passionate builder of people and systems, he guided the development of multiple APN programmes while aligning advanced practice training. This established his team as a centre of excellence recognised across the region. Beyond Singapore, Jordan serves on the International Nursing Leadership Board of the Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation and is the first Singapore nurse to chair the Asia Pacific Blood and Marrow Transplantation Group’s nursing division.
Jordan aspires for the profession to be known as clinically authoritative, technologically proficient, globally engaged, and above all, deeply compassionate towards safeguarding the human dignity of every patient it serves.

Wong Yoke Ping
Senior Nurse Manager
Changi General Hospital
A key member of the pioneering team that established palliative care services at Changi General Hospital, Ms Wong Yoke Ping has contributed to setting high standards for palliative nursing practice and service delivery at CGH.
Recognising the growing demand for palliative services and the need for scalable workforce capability, she spearheaded two formalised curricula: the Essential Palliative Care Approach for Nurses, which has trained over 2,500 nurses since 2022, and the Palliative Care Approach for Nurse Champions.
Beyond education, she has driven service development at institutional, cluster and national levels. As Clinical Nursing Lead for the EAGLEcare Community Nursing Programme, she led service expansion to eight nursing homes in 2024, with a roadmap to scale to 16 homes over five years.
Through her leadership in workforce capability building, she continues to advance palliative nursing practice and improve care across healthcare and community settings.

Pham Thi Ngoc Anh
Senior Nurse Clinician (Advanced Practice Nurse)
KK Women's and Children's Hospital
A pioneer in paediatric oncology nursing.
As Singapore’s first Paediatric Addvanced Practice Nurse specialising in stem cell transplant, Anh pushes the frontiers of paediatric oncology nursing. Journeying with families through the challenges of childhood cancer, she changes lives with her unique blend of clinical mastery and compassion when it matters most.
Advancing the nursing profession through innovation and research, Anh led the development of KKH’s Transplant Nursing Programme and harnesses augmented reality to help families better understand complex treatments.
Committed to nurturing the next generation, she shapes national standards as a member of the MOH APN Internship Committee and contributes her expertise internationally through collaborative platforms such as the Asia Pacific Blood and Marrow Transplantation group.
Anh embodies the best of what nursing can be: clinically excellent, deeply human, pioneering and committed to the profession.
