“At the Operation Centre, we have been keeping tabs on COVID-19 developments since late December. Internally, we started to intensify our planning and training. When the first COVID-19 patient was admitted into SGH, we were prepared and swung into action swiftly.

Many of us have made sacrifices to work seven days a week. Family support is pivotal during this period. There have been days when I leave home before my children wake up, and return home after they have fallen asleep. But in the little time that I have with them, they have expressed their pride in what daddy is doing and only want me to stay safe.”
