Whistleblowing Policy

Overview

SingHealth is committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct. We adopt a zero-tolerance stance toward fraudulent and illegal activities.

Examples of such activities include, but are not limited to:

• Asset Misappropriation
• Corruption and Bribery
• Conflict of Interest
• Regulation Breaches (e.g. Medical malpractice, vaping and substance abuse)

How to Raise a Concern or Make a Report

If you suspect that any SingHealth employee or partner is involved in fraudulent and illegal activities, please lodge a report through our whistleblowing channel. Whistleblowers should report their concerns in good faith.

Information to be Provided

Reports made through the official whistleblowing channel are confidential. Whistleblowers who make a report through the official whistleblowing channel are encouraged to identify themselves but may choose to remain anonymous and can select their preferred level of personal identity disclosure.

While SingHealth recognises that information from anonymous source is equally important, anonymous whistleblowers should be aware that SingHealth’s ability to follow up may be limited if we are unable to contact the informant for additional information required to commence an investigation.
To facilitate a thorough investigation, whistleblowers should, where possible, provide the following details:

• Description of the incident(s);
• Name(s) of the person(s) involved;
• Name(s) of the witness(es);
• Date, time, and location of the incident(s);
• Value of any money or assets involved;
• Frequency of incident(s);
• Supporting evidence (if any); and
• Any other information that may substantiate the concern.

SingHealth staff may refer to the SingHealth Whistleblowing Policy and are encouraged to raise HR-related issues through existing internal staff reporting channels or approach their HR Department for assistance.
