Whistleblowing Policy

SingHealth is committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity in its conduct of business, and does not tolerate any form of fraudulent, illegal or unethical/improper activity. To this end, SingHealth’s whistleblowing policy provides for the reporting of actual or suspected wrong-doings committed by any SingHealth employee or partner for investigation, corrective and/or disciplinary actions.

Some examples of unethical practices include, but are not limited to:

  • Theft and Fraud
  • Improper Accounting Practices
  • Misappropriation of Funds
  • Bribery and Kickbacks
  • Health, Safety and Environmental Issues
  • Ethical Misconduct in Clinical, Research or Education-related areas
  • Harassment and workplace bullying
  • Workplace discrimination

How to Raise a Concern or Make a Report

If you suspect any SingHealth employee or partner to be involved in fraudulent, illegal or unethical/improper activities, please lodge a report through any of the following whistleblowing channels. Whistleblowers should report their concerns in good faith.

Website URL: https://singapore.deloitte-halo.com/MOHHWhistleblowing/
Email: singhealth@tipoffs.com.sg
Phone Hotline: 800-492-2373

The whistleblowing channels are managed by an independent third party and the whistleblower’s identity will be held in strictest confidence. Whistleblowers can choose to remain anonymous. However it is encouraged that they provide their identity when reporting a case to facilitate investigation. It is also critical that a whistleblower provides as much relevant information as possible (e.g. name(s) of the individual(s) / organization(s) involved, dates, times, locations, the specific conduct in question and any additional supporting documentation or evidence) to allow for thorough investigation.

While SingHealth recognizes that information from an anonymous source is just as important to act upon, an anonymous whistleblower should be aware that SingHealth’s ability to follow up on the report may be limited when we are unable to contact the informant for the necessary details to commence investigation, where required.
