Visiting a Patient

Visiting Hours and Policy

In light of the heightened COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) situation, all visitors into our premises will have to go through registration and thermal scanning. Visitors will not be allowed to enter our premises if you
(i) have travel history to Mainland China; Daegu City or Cheongdo County (South Korea) within the last 14 days
(ii) had close contact with someone with COVID-19
(iii) had frequent or close contact with recent travellers from Mainland China; Daegu City or Cheongdo County (South Korea)
(iv) have fever or respiratory symptoms


For visitors who may be allowed into our premises, please adhere to the following measures:

1. Revised Visiting Hours:
  • 12pm to 2pm
  • 5pm to 8.30pm

2. Revised Visitation Policy:
Bright Vision Hospital
For each patient, only one (1) visitor or one (1) caregiver is allowed in the ward at any one time. Visitors have to adhere to the visiting hours. Pregnant women and children (under 12 years old) are discouraged from visiting.

Hospice Care Patients are allowed to register multiple caregivers, with only two (2) going to the ward at any one time. Visiting hours for Hospice Care Patients in BVH are 10am - 9pm daily.

Sengkang Community Hospital
For each patient, only one (1) visitor or one (1) caregiver is allowed in the ward at any one time. Visitors have to adhere to the visiting hours. Children (12 years and younger) are not allowed to visit.

Outram Community Hospital
For each patient, only one (1) visitor or one (1) caregiver is allowed in the ward at any one time. Visitors have to adhere to the visiting hours. Pregnant women and children (under 12 years old) are discouraged from visiting.
We understand that these measures may cause some inconveniences. For our patients' and your safety, please bear with us during this period as these measures will allow the hospitals to rapidly identify affected individuals in the event that contact tracing is required, and also to minimise infection exposure. Thank you for your patience.

While visiting the wards, we seek your co-operation to keep the noise level down to ensure that other patients get adequate rest. For patients' confidentiality, please also note that photography and videography of patients and their families are not allowed.
