Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
A procedure conducted by a Speech Therapist that involves passing a scope through the nose to view the throat to assess swallowing function while a patient is eating/drinking
We need to examine the patient’s swallowing function while he is eating and drinking, we will be inserting a scope through the nose to view the throat.
