Give someone a reason to smile amidst darkness

When illness strikes, it inevitably brings physical, emotional and psychological stress for the patient as well as his or her loved ones.

When you make a gift towards patient care, you provide support to our patients at a time when they are most in need. Your gift will go towards helping patients receive life-saving treatments such as chemotherapy and insulin injections for patients who may otherwise be unable to afford such care. More importantly, your support eases the financial worry and stress that patients in need may face as they confront their illness and enables them to focus on regaining their health. Caregivers who are coping with looking after their loved ones while making ends meet also feel relieved knowing that the cost of daily healthcare supplies such as diapers and special milk feeds will be taken care of.

Gifts towards patient care also enable patient support groups to build caring and supportive networks that are integral to enhancing the recovery journey through education and initiatives such as therapeutic workgroups, interest groups, enrichment programmes and social gatherings.

How your giving helps
No amount is too small. Every dollar adds up and makes a difference to our patients and their caregivers, for example:
  • $10 covers the cost of an adult’s diapers for two to three days
  • $60 a month from four people covers the cost of a patient’s special milk feeds for one month
  • $100 a month from 30 people can support a patient with one cycle of life-saving chemotherapy.
