Dr. P.K. Purushothaman is presently Professor of the Department of Oto - Rhinolaryngology at SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, India and also Senior Consultant in SIMS Hospital and Apollo, Chennai.
His Field of Interest Endoscopic Skull Base, Middle ear Surgery and Lateral Skull Base Surgery.
He underwent Dual Observational Fellowship in Endoscopic Skull base Surgery in University of Pittsburgh, USA and Adelaide, Australia and Clinical Fellowship in lateral Skull base Surgery in Piacenza, Italy and House ear Institute, los angeles, USA.
He has been invited as Speaker in the field of Endoscopic skull base surgery in various countries. He is attached to one of the busiest centre in Chennai (SIMS Hospital) in the field of endoscopic skull base surgery in collaboration with Neuro Surgeons.
He has numerous publications to his credit.
