Chin-Kuo CHEN, MD, PhD is the head of the otologic department, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taoyuan, Taiwan. Currently, he is also the executive director, International College of Surgeons, Taiwan section and director of communication enhancement center, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. Dr. CHEN received his medical degree from the Chung Shan Medical University and PhD from Taipei Medical University. He completed otolaryngology residency, chief residency at Taipei Municipal Ho-Ping Hospital and fellowship at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan.

Dr. Chen continued to make contributions to the scientific community. His primary field of study is otology and his research is focused on ear surgery and hearing loss. Dr. CHEN is famous at his experience on endoscopic ear surgery (EES). He has been a member of IWGEES and invited as a speaker at many major otologic conferences, such as world congress of EES, world congress of cholesteatoma, AAO, APSCI, world congress of ENT Endoscopy, Asia-Oceania ORL-HNS congress, and so on. He has devoted his attention to EES and shared experience these years.
