Profile

Dr Yeung is the Deputy Head and Consultant in the Department of General Surgery and leads the upper gastrointestinal and bariatric service at Sengkang General Hospital. He graduated from University of Glasgow with first class honours in 2006 and obtained his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from University of Strathclyde in 2015.

He completed his surgical specialist training in the United Kingdom. In 2015, he undertook a 1-year fellowship in upper GI surgery and advanced endoscopy at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong. In 2016, he spent a further year specialising in upper GI cancer surgery in Glasgow Royal Infirmary. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow).
