Profile

Dr Woo Chin Yee is an Associate Consultant with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2012, and obtained membership into the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014. She was also awarded Best Medical Officer Award in 2015. She commenced her Orthopaedic Surgery residency training in 2016 and was awarded the MOH Training Award. During the course of her training, she obtained her Masters of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2021 and was awarded SingHealth Associate in Education in 2021 and the SingHealth Outstanding Resident Award in 2022. She is now an accredited specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery and appointed as Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2023.

She has clinical interest in paediatric orthopaedic trauma and conditions, with focus on cerebral palsy and neuromuscular disorders and upper limb function.

Beyond clinical duties, she is also passionate in medical education and is involved in the training and education of medical students and junior doctors. She also has an interest in volunteer work and the arts.
