Profile

Dr Elaine Tan is a Senior Consultant emergency physician with Changi General Hospital (CGH). She has a special interest in simulation based healthcare education and completed her fellowship in medical simulation with the Center for Medical Simulation, Boston, USA in 2013. She is a founding member of the Singapore Society for Healthcare Simulation and is the current secretary.

Dr Tan has a special interest in inter-professional education (IPE) and has conducted IPE programs for her department as well as across disciplines. She has a Certificate of Teaching and Learning from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Health Professions Education.
