Profile

Dr Poon Woei Bing is Head and Senior Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatalogist at the Department of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine, Singapore General Hospital.

He graduated with MBBS from the NUS Faculty of Medicine in 1999, with a Dean’s List Award. He was admitted to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) as a member in 2005, and became a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2012.

In addition, he did HMDP in Neonatalogy and Neonatal follow-up  in Hospital of Sick Children in Toronto, Canada in 2011, where he had Fellowship in Neonatal and Perinatology under the University of Toronto as well as with Fellowship with the Hospital of Sick Children. In addition, he trained under Professors Patrick McNamara and Luc Mertens on neonatal functional echocardiography and hemodynamics.
