Clinical Assistant Prof Lohendran Baskaran is a Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore. His subspecialty interest is in non-invasive cardiac imaging, specifically cardiac computed tomography (CT) and Nuclear Cardiology. Clin Asst Prof Baskaran is an advocate of cardiac wellness, risk prediction and preventative cardiology. He is actively involved in research, teaching and clinical duties.

Clin Asst Prof Baskaran graduated with an MBBS from University College, London with an additional BSc (1st Class Honours) in Medical Physics. He obtained his initial medical training and MRCP in London. His fellowship was in non-invasive imaging, risk prediction and machine learning at Cornell, New York. Clin Asst Prof Baskaran is also a certified Exercise Specialist, with accreditation from the American College of Sports Medicine.

He is actively involved in fundraising for research and needy patients, and was co-chair of the inaugural NHCS Heart To Heart Gala.
