Profile

Dr Jonathan Han Youxiang is an Associate Consultant in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit, Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women's and Children's Hospital.

Dr Han graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore in 2014. He went on to obtain his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) (Ireland) in 2018 followed by his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG) and Master of Medicine (MMED) (O&G) in 2021. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) and is accredited as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Health, Singapore.

Dr Han’s interests lie in minimally invasive surgeries, which include hysteroscopy and laparoscopy for the removal of fibroid (myomectomy), ovarian cyst (cystectomy) or uterus (hysterectomy). He also enjoys taking care of women during their entire pregnancy journey, supporting them throughout the challenging times and ultimately delivering their bundle of joy.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Han is actively involved in clinical research. He has multiple papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at numerous overseas conferences. He is also dedicated to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals and participates actively in mentoring students from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Medical School and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
