Dr Chan Ling Ling is a Senior Consultant in DDR, SGH and an Associate Professor at Duke-NUS. After specialist accreditation in Diagnostic Radiology, she completed her Neuroradiology fellowship at The Baylor College of Medicine and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
As senior faculty of the DDR Neuroradiology service, she works closely with the RADSC team to support clinical service and teaching of residents and fellows. She is involved in the Residency programme and MMed-FRCR 2B Exams.
She is a PI and collaborator of multiple national grants, and a two-time awardee of the NMRC Clinician Scientist Award. She has 2589 citations, an i10-index of 78 and h-index of 29, multiple scientific awards and led >10 award-winning presentations by both under- and post-graduate students at radiological conferences including RSNA, SMRT and ISMRM. She leads a neuroimaging research lab focusing on chronic neurological diseases.
She has held numerous DDR administrative portfolios including directorships of Neuroradiology Subsection, Advance Imaging Centre, Clinical Services, and is now Director of Research. She serves on the MOH research accreditation panel and editorial board of Annals, Academy of Medicine, Singapore, was the Honorary Secretary, Singapore Radiological Society and currently Treasurer of its Neuroradiology Subsection.
