Dr Tan works in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery in Changi General Hospital. His primary interest is in general ear, nose and throat conditions but has a special interest in sleep disorders, especially sleep disordered breathing and the various aspects of treatment. This includes managing patients on CPAP therapy and the various surgical treatment options for snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. He works closely with multidisciplinary members of the Sleep Medicine, Surgery & Scienceand is involved in the running of the Sleep Laboratory in Changi General Hospital. Dr Tan is also an active member of the Multidisciplinary Tracheostomy Care Team in Changi General Hospital, providing advice and participates in team rounds.
