Profile

Dr Sridhar Arunachalam is serving Singapore Health Services for more than a decade. He holds the accreditation for both Paediatrics and Neonatology in Singapore. He has more than 20 years of experience in dealing with children and newborn. He completed his MBBS at the renowned Manipal University, India.  He has a vast International experience before moving to Singapore. He has worked in Malaysia, Kuwait and UK before relocating to Singapore.

His areas of expertise include General Paediatrics, Paediatric emergencies, Neonatal resuscitation and neonatal intensive care, management of premature babies ranging from extreme premature to late preterm babies and providing appropriate developmental care and follow up of all high risk newborn infants. He works with the relevant specialists to provide antenatal counseling for high risk deliveries.

He has been representing SingHealth as an International Volunteer to train the doctors and nurses in the resource poor countries since 2014. He holds immense passion in the field of medical education and contributes in various positions in the Singapore medical schools. He is also an examiner for the undergraduate examinations. He trains doctors, nurses and paramedics as a faculty in the simulation based training program. He is also a tutor for the MMED/MRCPCH course which helps budding doctors to embark in the field of Paediatrics. He has represented SGH in various local and International conferences.
