Minister of Health Mr Gan Kim Yong, who was the Guest-of-Honour, announced the opening dates of the hospitals during the event. Sengkang General Hospital opens progressively from 18 August 2018, and Sengkang Community Hospital from 28 August 2018.
Residents were engaged in interactive games, exercise workouts, and could participate in health checks, CPR training workshops and hospital tours that were conducted as part of the event. There were also several booths selling healthy snacks, offering community care advice, as well as sharing of recruitment opportunities at the hospitals.
About 2,000 residents and partners participated in the event.
