Alvin Lee is the Senior Assistant Director, RHS (Community) at Changi General Hospital, where he leads community partnerships and population health initiatives that support residents in the Bedok and Geylang East precincts. With over 20 years of experience spanning healthcare, public service, higher education, and social service, he oversees community volunteer development, population health data management, and general practitioner engagement in CGH. He also played an instrumental role in developing the Circle of Care @ South East initiative—an integrated collaboration between CGH and the South East Community Development Council to build an activated and empowered community of health and wellness. In addition, Alvin serves on the CGH Corporate Social Responsibility Committee to promote staff volunteerism and represents CGH in the ComLink+ Alliance Working Group to advance Healthier SG efforts. His earlier career includes senior roles at Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, Ministry of National Development, People’s Association, The Singapore Buddhist Lodge, and Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, where he developed youth engagement and leadership programmes, community building campaigns, and overseas service‑learning initiatives. Beyond his professional work, Alvin serves as Chairman of the Changi Simei Citizens’ Consultative Committee and the Community Development and Welfare Fund, with more than 20 years of grassroots leadership experience. A former Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP) Participant, Discussion Facilitator, and National Leader, as well as President of SSEAYP International Singapore, he was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2014 for his significant contributions to the community.
