Dr Retno S Wardani, completed her ear, nose and throat training at Universitas Indonesia. Dr Danni’s area of interest is rhinology, especially the pathogenesis of rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps through research in nasal immunity and inflammation. Based on the clinical research, she shares the concept of United Airway and the protection of the entire airway by a proper nasal functioning during awake and sleep.

She is a passionate teacher whose aim is to see FESS intervention being performed in all 200 district hospitals in Indonesia. Her parallel mission is to continue to run the annual Jakarta International FESS (JiFESS) Course and Cadaver Dissection Workshop. 

JiFESS has been in conjunction with RO@R (Rhinology Observership @ RSCM) since 2017. The five-day scientific program is a media for sixteen residents and young ENT doctors to observe rhinology clinical and surgical activities at RSCM (Indonesian short name of Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital), present their papers of research and evidence case based report, discuss simple to difficult real cases real patients, build friendships with other national and international participants; and learn overall philosophy of fun learning and live long learning.
