Dr Loh Kok Kit is an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon with about 35 years of experience in the field. He offers a wide spectrum of medical and surgical treatment tailored to the individual needs of both adults and young children alike. This is the outcome of his advanced ENT surgical training in UK and Australia, experience gained from previous practice in National University, Singapore General and Tan Tock Seng Hospitals and when appropriate, competence in application of contemporary technical advances such as robot or computer-assistance, electronic ear implants, laser, balloon catheter and minimally invasive techniques. After graduating in medicine from the National University of Singapore, he obtained his postgraduate qualification FRCSEd in Otolaryngology (1982). Through a HMDP Scholarship, he underwent ENT training in world class hospitals in London (Guys Hospital, Kings College Hospital, Royal National Hospital for Nervous Diseases) and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. He was awarded another Scholarship in advanced ENT training, during which he was a Fellow mentored by renowned surgeons in Sydney at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St Vincents Hospital and Royal Alexander Hospital for Children in 1987 – 1988. In recognition of his experience and contributions, he was admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1994 and invited to be an International associate editor of two prestigious ENT journals based in US – Otology and Neurotology, and International Tinnitus Journal. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Prior to starting private practice, he served as Associate Professor and Senior consultant at the National University Hospital. Over the years, his contributions included various administrative and teaching roles, publications and conference presentations. His surgery has been quoted in literature.
