1. The ‘GPFirst GP Recommends ’ contest comprising a series of bi-weekly contests (each a "Contest") is organised by Changi General Hospital Pte Ltd. ("Organiser").
2. The following Terms and Conditions ("T&C") govern your participation in the Contest.
3. Each participant ("Participant") agrees that he/she has read and understood this document and by participating in the Contest, each Participant agrees to be bound by the T&C.
CONTEST PERIOD
4. The Contest comprises bi-weekly contests from 22 December 2022 to 30 April 2023.
5. All entries must be submitted via the GPFirst Facebook Page within five days from the date that each image post relating to the Contest is published on the GPFirst Facebook page.
PRIZES
6. The prize for the Contest would be any one (1) of the items below.
- GPFirst foldable canvas cotton bag
- GPFirst Plaster Dispensers
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
7. To participate in each Contest, each Participant must:
(a) Like and Share the GPFirst Facebook Page.
(b) Complete the quizzes by clicking the provided link for the respective contests.
(c) Comment on the post with a screenshot of the completed quiz.
ELIGIBILITY
8. The Contest is open to all Singaporeans and non-Singaporeans who are residing in Singapore.
9. Employees of the Organiser and any member of the SingHealth Group and the immediate family members of such employees, its respective divisions, affiliates, authorised dealers/distributors and agents; suppliers of the Prize(s) are not eligible to participate in these Contests.
WINNERS SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
10. The Contests shall run strictly in accordance with the submission timeframe stated above.
11. The Organiser shall have the sole and absolute discretion to select the winning entry and to determine the eligibility and accuracy of each entry. The decision of the Organiser shall be final.
12. The first Participant to comment with a screenshot of the successfully completed quiz will receive a prize.
13. Thereafter, 9 participants who commented with a screenshot of completed quiz will be selected to receive a prize. An online application, ‘Wheels of Names’, will be used to select such 9 participants.
14. Each participant can participate only once for each weekly quiz. If there are multiple entries by the same participant, only the first completed entry will be considered.
15. The Organiser will post and publish the Facebook handle of the winning Participants within 7 days from the end of each Contest date ("Notification’).
16. Within 3 days from the Notification, each winning Participant is required to contact GPFirst via email (gpfirst@cgh.com.sg) for verification purposes and to receive instructions on how to claim their prize. If the winning entry is found to be ineligible or a duplicated or copied entry, the Organiser reserves the right to choose another winning entry.
17. Should any winning Participant fail to respond to the Notification in accordance with Section 16 above, within three (3) working days of the Notification, the Organiser reserves the right to pick another winner upon which the prize will be deemed forfeited.
18. The prizes are as stated and are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash or any other items and not-for-sale
19. In the event of circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control and the Organiser is unable to provide the stated prize or any part thereof, the Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value, to be determined at the Organiser’s sole discretion.
RIGHTS AND DATA PROTECTION
20. By participating in the Contests, the Participant agrees that the Organiser (and any relevant third party) may collect, use, disclose or transfer his/her personal data for the purposes of:
(i) conducting and administering his/her participation in the Contests; and
(ii) organising and promoting the Contests or otherwise for purposes relating to the Contests.
Participant’s personal data will be processed in accordance with the SingHealth Data Protection Policy.
21. The Organiser shall have the right to publish the names and entries of each Participant on Facebook, the websites of any member of the SingHealth Group or on such other channels of communication.
22. No Participant shall post any entry or comment that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing or racially disparaging / insensitive. Participants’ postings and comments do not represent the sentiments and opinions of the Organiser. The Organiser has the sole discretion at any time edit remove any posting and/or comment which in its opinion breaches any of these Terms or for any other reason.
23. By entering into the Contests, the Participant acknowledges that Facebook’s privacy policy and other guidelines and rules apply.
MISCELLANEOUS
24. The Organiser may at any time vary, amend or modify any of these T&C without prior notice.
25. The Organiser’s decision in all matters arising out of or in connection with the Contest is final and conclusive and is not obliged to enter into any correspondence with a Participant or any third-party.
26. These T&C are governed by Singapore law and each Participant agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
27. To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damages or other liabilities arising out of the Participant’s participation (or inability to participate) in the Contest or any posting or comment of the Participant in connection with the same.
28. To the extent that the Organiser suffers or incurs any loss, damages or other liabilities arising out of the Participant’s participation in the Contest or any posting or comment of the Participant in connection with the same, the Participant shall indemnify and keep the Organiser indemnified from such loss, damages or other liability.
