Profile

Dr Wee is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). His areas of interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain and neuromusculoskeletal ultrasound.

Dr Wee completed his training in rehabilitation medicine and pain medicine in Australia, for which he was admitted to the fellowship of both the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, as well as the Faculty of Pain Medicine at the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. He is accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board in Singapore as a specialist in rehabilitation medicine and is a fellow at the Academy of Medicine (Singapore). Dr Wee was awarded the Health Manpower Development Program (HMDP) to do a fellowship in neuromusculoskeletal ultrasound at the National Taiwan University Hospital in Taipei and St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.

On the academic front, Dr Wee is actively involved in teaching both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He participates actively in various scientific conferences as part of continuing education and has published in peer reviewed medical journals.
