Profile

​Dr Tay Ee Guan is a Family Physician and Senior Consultant at SingHealth Polyclinics. His interest is in Chronic Disease Management, and practice of Evidence Based Medicine. He is currently the Director of Education at SingHealth Polyclinics , Vice Chair Education in the Family Medicine Academic Clinical Program, and also the Asst Dean MD program at Duke-NUS Medical School. In his role as Director Education in Singhealth Polyclinics, he plans and coordinates the undergraduate training of medical students of the 3 medical schools, and also the professional development of doctors  in the polyclinics. As Vice Chair Education in the FM Academic Clinical Program, he oversees the training and development of Family Physicians within the ACP. In his capacity as Asst Dean in the DukeNUS Medical School, he assist the Vice Dean Education to plan and implement the school curriculum. He has held various portfolios in the polyclinics , such as Clinical Services , Education , Research and  Medical manpower. He has been actively involved in developing the postgraduate Family Medicine training framework in Singapore. He was the Lead in Postgraduate Family Medicine Training Review, Chair of the Workgroup for Family Medicjne Residency Review, and previous Chairman of FM Residency Advisory Committee  .
