Dr Joshua Tan is a Medical Oncologist at the National Cancer Centre Singapore. He graduated in 2014, obtaining his MBBS from the National University of Singapore. He obtained his MRCP (UK) in 2016 becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). In 2023 he graduated as the top trainee for the Medical Oncology Singapore Specialist programme.
Dr Tan subspecializes in the treatment of breast cancers and is currently doing ongoing research in the area of homologous recombination deficiency in triple negative breast cancers.
He also has a strong interest in education and nurturing the academic and professional development of junior doctors. Dr Tan has won education awards in 2021 from the Singhealth Medicine ACP as well as in 2023 as an inspiring educator (RiSE awards).
