Dr Tan Wu Meng is Consultant, Division of Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore.

Wu Meng’s pre-clinical training was at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. Subsequently he was selected to join the Cambridge MBBChir-PhD scholarship programme, which combined training in clinical medicine and biomedical research. His PhD research project at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology studied the molecular biology of DNA repair.

After returning to Singapore, his postgraduate medical training in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology was at the Singapore General Hospital and National Cancer Centre Singapore. Wu Meng also worked for a time in private practice before returning to serve in the public sector.
