Profile

Dr Sobhana Thangaraju is a senior consultant renal physician with interest in renal transplantation. She obtained her MBBS at the National University of Singapore in 2004. She completed her Internal Medicine and Nephrology training in Singapore General Hospital in 2009 and 2012 respectively. She received the Human Manpower and Development Program award for Transplant Fellowship in Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation in British Columbia, Vancouver. Following completion of her fellowship, she is an accredited fellow of the American Society of Transplantation. Upon returning to Singapore in 2014, she continues to practice general nephrology, while playing a key role in kidney transplantation.
