Profile
Dr Sim Wen Shan is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, UK (MRCOG). As a senior consultant in the Maternal and Fetal Medicine Department, Dr Sim Wen Shan’s interests lie in prenatal diagnosis, preeclampsia screening, multiple pregnancies as well as fetal anomalies. She is also the clinical lead for the STORK Multiple Pregnancy Clinic.
Teaching and training of the PGY1s had been Dr Sim’s main contribution to Medical Education for the past 8 years. She is currently the Programme Director of the PGY1 Programme, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Apart of practising medicine, Dr Sim also has keen interests in medical humanities and mindfulness practices. She had recently given a talk on Mindfulness in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Singapore Mindfulness Conference 2021.
Dr Sim is also a member of the Association for Breastfeeding Advocacy (Singapore).
