Profile

Clin Asst Prof Ng Choon Ta is an consultant from the Department of Cardiology at National Heart Centre Singapore, with subspecialty interests in cardiomyopathy, heart failure, echocardiography and cardio-oncology. In addition to managing complex patients with advanced heart failure, he collaborates closely with oncologists to optimise the cardiovascular health of cancer patients undergoing treatment.

Apart from his clinical duties, Clin Asst Prof Ng Choon Ta is also actively involved in research and education. He is a co-investigator for many international clinical trials, and has published extensively in international peer-reviewed publications. He is an invited speaker at regional conferences, and has also presented extensively in international cardiology conferences.

He also strongly believes in mentoring future generations of medical doctors and allied health professionals, and is a clinical tutor with Duke-NUS School of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
