Profile

Adjunct Associate Professor Lourdes Mary Daniel is a Senior Consultant and the Head of Department in the Department of Child Development. She is also a Neonatologist with more than 20 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care. She is involved in both hospital and school based developmental care of children. She is involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and in research in Child Development. She was the Head of Ambulatory Services in the Department of Neonatology till 2012 and the director of the Universal Newborn Program till 2014.

She received her developmental training from the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Boston Children's Hospital and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
