Clinical Assistant Professor Benji Lim is a senior consultant interventional cardiologist at Changi General Hospital (CGH), and a visiting consultant at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS). Dr Lim received his medical degree from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2007 where he was awarded the Dr Henry Hutchinson Steward Medical Scholarship. After his intern year at St. James's Hospital in Dublin, he returned to Singapore and completed his internal medicine basic specialist training in 2012, followed by cardiology advanced specialist training in 2015. He received the Eastern Health Alliance Health Manpower Development Plan award and completed a one year fellowship in interventional cardiology at Inselspital, University of Bern, Switzerland in 2017.
Clincal Assistant Professor Benji Lim is currently the associate program director of the SingHealth Cardiology Senior Residency Programme and clinical lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He was awarded the SingHealth Residency Outstanding Faculty award in 2020, the Eastern Health Alliance Young Educator Award in 2016 and the Silver Star Award in 2014.
