Dr Christina Yang is an Associate Consultant with the Department of Breast Surgery, Singapore General Hospital, Singhealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre. She was born and raised in Myanmar. She studied one year of medical school before deciding to study in Taiwan. She graduated from Chang Gung University in 2013 achieving medical degree. After completing her internship in Taiwan for a year, she decided to pursue a career in Singapore.
In Singapore, Christina worked under MOHH and did a two surgical MOPEX posting from April 2014 to June 2015. She started training under General Surgery Residency in July 2015 and had also mentored medical students during the process. She served as a service senior resident for a year with the Breast Surgery team before finally joining the department in 2022.
