Dr Chandran is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He obtained his MBBS in 1999 before attaining his FRCA in 2007 and his CCT in 2010.

Previously, Dr Chandran worked as a consultant anaesthetist at Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board, Swansea, U.K. He has been involved in various quality improvement and administrative activities such as maintenance of competency, emergency airway service as well as the tracheostomy care committee.
