Profile

Dr Amudha started her career in Tamilnadu Medical Service since 1989.She has worked in Ultrasonology departments in referral centres in Tamandu and New Delhi till 1997.She worked as a Registrar in Neonatology in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Dr Amudha joined KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in July 2006 as a Medical Officer. She completed her AST Training and successfully exited in October 2012.She exited Neonatology AST in 2013 and is currently working as a Senior Consultant in the Neonatology Department.

Her sub-specialty interests include Birth Defect Clinic, Follow up of Children with Down Syndrome Neonatal Imaging and Communication. She is a member of Neonatal Ambulatory Committee and Necrotizing Enterocolitis work group. She is also a member of palliative team and Bereavement support group.
