Profile

Dr Chow Weien is a consultant with the department of Cardiology at Changi General Hospital (CGH). His primary focus is on general cardiology, with an interest in multi-modality cardiac imaging. Dr Chow completed his cardiology training in Singapore followed by further training in nuclear cardiology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center as well as cardiac CT angiography at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in USA. He is also trained in echocardiography.

Prior to joining CGH, Dr Chow served the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) for more than 16 years before retiring from active military service as the chief naval medical officer and concurrent commander force medical protection command. He received his hyperbaric and diving medicine training in USA and is a visiting consultant (hyperbaric & diving medicine) to Singapore General Hospital.
