Mrs Jacqueline Perhar
Lead Small Bowel Transplant Clinical Nurse Specialist, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, United Kingdom

Since qualifying as a registered nurse in 2005, Mrs Jacqueline Perhar has worked in both transplant and intensive care settings. In 2012, she joined the Small Bowel Transplant team and has been an integral part of the ever-growing service, which manages patients from across the UK and Europe. Her role has included participation in the Multi-visceral and Composite Tissue Advisory Group (MCTAG) and leadership of a team of four nurses. This team oversees small bowel transplant patients throughout their journey, from referral and assessment to listing and lifelong post-transplant management. Additionally, her responsibilities sometimes extend to being on call for 24 hours, during which she coordinates complex transplants for liver, multivisceral, small bowel, kidney, and pancreas procedures.
