Financial adviser Mak Kwok Fai will take part in his first The Straits Times Run next month, 10 years after the stroke that left him in a wheelchair for a few months. He will be running 10km with a group from the Singapore National Stroke Association.
When he regained full consciousness, Mr Mak Kwok Fai remembered little about the stroke he had suffered and the three-month hospital stay that followed in 2008.
