RoleChun Jye is a research officer who support the research and administrative activities of the lab. He also assists to set up and maintain the Vectra multiplexed imaging platform in TII.
Currently working onDr Valerie Chew's team works on cancer immunology, specifically focusing on Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC). Chun Jye is involved in understanding how chronic hepatitis B infection can shape the tumor microenvironment of HCC. Besides, he contributes to the project to study the immunomics in peripheral blood of HCC patients who underwent Yttrium-90 radioembolisation. In addition, he is also engaged to investigate the immune modulation after Bacillus Calmette–Guérin (BCG) treatment in bladder cancer patients.
Chun Jye's research interests are…Chun Jye's research interest is in cancer biology and how cancer escapes immune surveillance.
