The Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS) would like to cordially invite you to attend The SICS Seminars: Human Potential series – The role of eating self-regulation in human health and development on 28 September 2022 (Wednesday), 3pm (SGT).
In this talk, Dr Keri McCrickerd will present research on how early life experiences shape children’s eating behaviours in ways that can make it easier or harder to regulate intake for optimal health and well-being. She will share recent research efforts to prevent childhood obesity by cultivating eating self-regulation skills early in life and consider whether focusing on ‘food as nutrition’ underestimates the role eating can play in building important social-emotional competencies during childhood.
All are welcome.
