You are invited to the upcoming seminar by Prof Guo-Li Ming, Perelman Professor of Neuroscience, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Title: Engineering brain organoids for understanding brain development and diseases
Abstract:
Human iPSC based organoid model systems offer unique advantages in understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms governing embryonic tissue development and in modeling developmental disorders. I will discuss our recent work of using brain organoids for studying human specific features of brain development. I will also talk about disease modeling using patient-derived brain tumor organoids.
