  • Robotic Device Helps COVID-19 Patient Get Back on His Feet
    After 15 days in intensive care due to COVID-19, Mr Tan was struggling to balance or walk without support. To assist him, he was brought a robotic walking aid called Andago. "When I walked with Andago, I felt lighter (due to the weight support), and I felt more secure, and more confident," said Mr Tan.
  • Vitamin D May Help in COVID-19 Fight
    A Singapore General Hospital (SGH) study found that treating COVID-19 patients aged 50 and above with a combination of vitamin D, magnesium and vitamin B12 was associated with a "significant reduction" in the number of those who went on to require oxygen support or admission to intensive care.
