Robots Reduce Exposure of
Front-line Workers in COVID-19 Fight
Remote-controlled robots deployed at SingHealth's community care facility at the Singapore Expo have reduced the time that front-line healthcare workers spend with COVID-19 patients by six times.
The robots, known as Temi, allow doctors and nurses to communicate with patients via a screen mounted on wheels. They can also deliver medication, conduct patrols and conduct exercise sessions for patients on screen.
