Mr Lee Sian Shao is the Head of Medical Simulation & Technologies (Hd MST) from the Training and Learning Science Branch (TLSB) at the SAF Medical Training Institute (SMTI). A medic by vocation, he served as a simulation instructor during his full-time National Service from 2004 to 2006 and returned to the institute in 2012 after completing his studies.
As Hd MST, he oversees the development and utilisation of medical simulation training in SMTI to enhance training effectiveness and efficiency. He is also in charge of identifying and incorporating technology to improve the learning experience for learners. As a member of TLSB, he is currently involved in an institute-wide learning transformation effort to transform the way learning is approached to cater for the newer generation of learners.
