Harnessing Stress in Simulated Escape Situations to Foster Interprofessional Education (The IPE Activity Design Workshop)

Through this intensive workshop, participants will experience an imperfect collaborative Interprofessional Education 'escape' situation; as well as reflect, critique and improve on the design of the learning activity.

Experience & learn to design well-crafted escape room situations, to provide the experiential stimulus for IPE and Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC), underpinned by the theories of constructivism, cognitivism and social learning.

  1. To learn the elements of planning an experiential IPE learning activity for healthcare professionals
  2. To experience, reflect, discuss, and design a problem-based escape activity
