Mr Numair SHAHPUR

Simulation Advisor (Technical), Department of Centre for Innovation in Medical Education

The Aga Khan University (AKU), Pakistan

Mr Numair Shahpur is the Simulation Advisor (Technical) of the Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME) at The Aga Khan University, Pakistan. He is an Engineering graduate with extensive experience in IT infrastructure, Technology Implementation and Clinical Simulation. Reporting to the Director of the Centre, he leads a team of Simulation Analysts to support and maintain technical operations at CIME, as well as develops new innovations to assist with educational activities at the centre. He is also responsible for the planning and development of upcoming simulation centres across AKU campuses in East Africa, while advising the CIME Director on the technology roadmap for the simulation centre. Numair is a member of SIMGHOSTS and SSiH, and has a keen interest in working with students and community engagement.
