Prof Goh Siang Hiong is an Emergency Medicine Senior Consultant Specialist, as well as the Director for Medical Education at Changi General Hospital. He has a deep interest in Emergency Medicine medical education, serving as the present Chair for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Emergency Medicine Academic Clinical Programme. Prof Goh also serves as the President for the College of Emergency Medicine of Singapore and was previously President for the Society for Emergency Medicine.
Prof Goh teaches emergency medicine courses such as BCLS, ACLS, ATLS (Provider & Instructor courses), HazMat Life Support and Fundamental Critical Care Course. In recognition of his contributions to teaching, Prof Goh had been awarded the SingHealth GCEO Excellence award for Medical Education and the Best Teacher for Ambulatory Disciplines Award.
